Leah Clarke
This year, the CMRC Women’s East Nationals will consist of four rounds at Gopher Dunes, Ulverton, Deschambeault, and RJ’s. CMRC will be giving %100 payback from all of the race entries, so the more girls that race, the bigger the payback!
There are four rounds of the East series: Gopher Dunes on July 9th, Ulverton on July 16th, Deschmabeault on August 6th, and RJ’s Motorsport park on August 13th. More details can be found on cdnwmx.com
Sylvain Brodeur and I couldn’t make this happen without the help of our sponsors. Here’s a preview of what is up for grabs at the 2016 Women’s East National series (there may be more to come!):
This year, Motovan Corporation will be our title sponsor with a significant contribution to our series. Motovan is Canada’s ultimate source of powersports parts and accessories, and they are supporting the series with some amazing products like ZOX helmets, Michelin Tires, TCX boots and Leatt neck braces & helmets.
MX and Off-road Magazine have donated $100 HOLESHOT awards for each moto of the series!
There will be a Gibsontyre Hard Charger Award that will be given to the rider who fought the hardest for the day. This rider will be given a free Gibson rear tire at the podium.
Laminacorr racing is providing $200 in purse money per round for the top 3 of the day through their ‘Ride Like a Girl’ program. Laminacorr racing has supported our series for the past 3 years and they also support female off-road racers!
MD Distribution has donated once again the Forma Boots award trophy and a DEFT family/Mika/DT1 prize pack. One pair of Forma Boots will go to the best-placing girl in the series who is not a boot-sponsored rider!
There will be four certificates for a one-week training program at the Jimmy Weinert Training Facility in North Carolina donated by the facility again this year. These certificates will be given away at the DRAW table, so any girl that races a round can win one!
Mongoose Machine will be providing awards for the girls who get 4th and 5th overall at each round. The girl who gets 4th overall will receive a $250 gift certificate towards a Rekluse clutch and 5th overall will receive a $100 gift certificate towards an InnTeck Oversize Front Rotor kit.
KTM Canada is again providing Rider Contingency for any lady rider who races the East series on a KTM bike! There is $925 worth of contingency to be split on the top ten riders overall at each National who ride KTM.
KTM Canada will also be providing a ‘Ready2Race Rookie of the Year’ award. $200 will go to the Rookie of the Year at the end of the series!
