Just Giver Productions‘ Mitch Goheen worked double duty again this past weekend in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania – not only did he race the amateur program, but he also threw on a stylish photographer’s vest for us and snapped shots of Pro Day too. Mitch finished 1-3-1 in 2-Stroke B/C, 250 C, and Open C respectively. He’s just punched his ticket for the finale in Las Vegas, May 1-3 at South Point Arena again.
This won’t be the most in depth look at who did what over the weekend, but more of a ‘who did how,’ since Mitch was too busy getting prepared for his races to go looking for scoops and I simply wasn’t there. I do, however, have access to the results pages, so that’s what we’ll do here.
Let’s have a look:

Check out PR-MX JT Racing rider #727 Dave Blanchet. He won an LCQ and went on to finish an impressive 13th and 9th in the Lites main events.

This isn’t the way Bobby Kiniry wanted the weekend to start, but it would definitely get better for him.

#7 Travis Sewell from Indiana finished 6th (6-7) Friday and 8th (6-8). Here he is racing with Goerke.

#6 is Willy Browning from Ohio. He failed to make the mains Friday night and then took 9th (9-7) on Saturday. It looks like he’s in the middle of a fender slap here.

#116 Bobby Kiniry took his first Arenacross overall Friday night with 1-6 mains. He won the LCQ and took 6th (7-5) Saturday.

Dave Ginolfi throws the horns over the finish line and took 9th (12-5) Friday and 11th (11-11) on Saturday.

Goerke shows #4 Kyle Regal a wheel. Regal won a main Friday night and took 4th and then his 2-6 gave him 4th again Saturday.

#581 is Kyle Bitterman from South Carolina. 13-3 gave him 7th Friday and 12-12 gave him 12th in the AX Class Saturday night.

Canadian rider #22 Preston Masciangelo gets some last-minute encouragement before going out and winning…again.

He went out and won all three of his main events. Just another race weekend for the Brantford, Ontario, resident.

We’ll end it here with the champagne celebration. Thanks for reading and we’ll see you at the races…
