TransCan Early Bird Pre- Entry Deadline & Walton Raceway June Event Information
Walton Raceway is ready for the month of June and we are excited to invite you to join us for our Open Practice’s, our TVR events and our AMO – Amateur National Qualifier (ANQ). All Racers please keep an eye on the upcoming 2016 Parts Canada TransCan – Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship Entry Deadlines!
Important Dates to watch for:
June 1st – Early Bird TransCan Pre Entry Deadline: Racers entering the 2016 Parts Canada TransCan – Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship – August 17-21, sign up today on, June 1st and save $15 per class!
June 4th – Open Motocross Practice: Takes place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday prior to our first TVR race of the year; Practice is $30 per racer and there are no memberships required. Onsite camping is available for $15 per vehicle on both Friday and Saturday Nights.
June 5th – Thames Valley Riders -Motocross Race: Walton Raceway welcomes the TVR club and its racers to for the first race at Walton Raceway this year. Day Pass riders are welcomed, For more information visit http://www.tvrmx.com
June 11th – Open Motocross Practice: Takes place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday prior to our AMO – (Amateur National Qualifier); Practice is $30 per racer and there are no memberships required. Onsite camping is available for $15 per vehicle on both Friday and Saturday Nights.
June 12th – AMO – Amateur National Qualifier (ANQ) & Atlas Brace Madskills #7 : Southwestern Ontario Qualifier #4 of 5 will be held at Walton Raceway on June 12th, AMO, TVR, MMRS clubs and all racers and riders are welcome to attend and compete to qualify for the 2016 Parts Canada TransCan – Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship – August 17-21. June 22nd – TransCan Pre Entry Deadline: Racers must pre-enter for the 2016 Parts Canada TransCan – Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship – prior to June 22 to have your ANQ results count and placed in our ranking system. Once June 22 passes, we will begin entering and sorting results, it is a racers responsibility to confirm all results are correct in your region. We are hopefully to begin confirming racers for the 2016 Parts Canada TransCan – Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship by June 25. All Racers who register for the TransCan after June 22, will be placed into a class or on a standby list as of “date of entry” regardless of ANQ positioning.

About The TransCan
In 1992, the TransCan was created as Walton Raceway would hold an annual event drawing on all the best things in the sport, an annual coming together for bragging rights, a celebration of Canadian Motocross. The TransCan was built from a great natural track, strong community support, accessibility and support from the Industry. The emphasis was to be real outdoor style motocross, highly competitive with lots of extracurricular attractions and opportunity for the best Canadian racers in all age classes to compete against each other for a Canadian Amateur and Pro Motocross Championship.
