#TBT Throwback Thursday: Jolene Van Vugt – Gopher Dunes 2007

Back in 2007, London, Ontario’s Jolene Van Vugt was the defending Canadian Women’s Motocross Champion. Jolene’s life has seen many changes since then: she’s a member of The Nitro Circus crew, she’s been a stuntwoman in a big-time Batman movie, she was the first woman to do a whole bunch of upside-down tricks, and she’s probably logged more air miles than she’d care to think about. But back in 2007 she was simply a great rider who also worked Racer X Canada which has – in a roundabout way – become today’s Direct Motocross. Congratulations on all your success, Jolene, from all of us here at DMX.
