Calgary, Alberta, rider, Keylan Meston, was one of the most consistent riders on the Rockstar Energy MX Nationals circuit in 2016, and that consistency has rewarded him with #8 for 2017 (he was #28 in 2016). We caught up with the no-nonsense, hard working rider as he was driving a transport truck through Idaho on his way to pick up a load of cow guts. These off-season 9-5 stories are not uncommon in our sport.
After a successful 2016 outdoor season, Keylan has shifted his attention to the indoors and Arenacross. At the final round of competition in the Canadian National AX Tour series, Keylan found himself on top step of the podium in what was surely his most successful weekend as a Pro rider to date. We wanted to talk to him about that and what he has planned for the future as a single-digit rider. Here’s what he had to say as he drove down the highway.
