It was Round 4 of the Amateur Open Series this past Saturday at Gopher Dunes. Unfortunately, the rider turnout was on the low side, but there were still some great riders at the front of every class. We’ll show you the winners of each one as they are listed in the results HERE.

#469 Jamie Astudillo with this subtle move on #1 Eve Brodeur paid off as she took the Ladies class with 2-1 motos over Eve’s 1-3. #3 Kaylie Kayer was 3rd with 3-2 scores.
Nobody was touching #21 Liam O’Farrell in the +30 class.
And #101 Ryan Lockhart had the +40 class covered, going 1-1.
#613 Cole Pranger was in charge of the Schoolboy class with 1-1 motos.
#327 Brandon Gourlay on his TM traded wins with #211 Jack Wright to take the Under 30 (14-29) class.
#247 Tegan Kortenbach all the way from Alberta took the Open Junior win 1-1 and the 250 Junior win with 1-3 motos after crashing hard on lap 1 of moto 2 with #81 Nathan Snelgrove.
#613 Cole Pranger took the overall in the Open Intermediate class (1-2) after some nice battles with #65 Trevor Hazlett from New York State who finished 2nd (6-1).
#55 Talon Medaglia blew up his race bike so they snagged a Honda 150 from the GDR stable and he went out and took the win in the Supermini class (3-1) ahead of #619 Zachary Owczarzy’s 1-3.
#99 Austin Kukielka won 65 (7-9) 1-1.
#107 Josh Hilbing snagged the win in Open Beginner (2-1) after Rick Oates was 1-DNS.
#619 Zachary Ocwzarzy took the Supermini win 1-2 after Medaglia was a DNS in moto 1 but took moto 2.
#315 Trey Schmucki is here all the way from Alberta. He finished 2nd in Supermini (2-4)
#803 Bryant Rollins all the way from Texas took the win in the younger 85cc class (7-11) with 1-1 motos over fellow Texan #52 Johneverett Pastureau (2-2). They split wins in the 65 Open class.
#52 Patrick Pastureau was the one to beat in the 50 (7-8) class, taking both moto wins.
#502 Aiden Small was the only rider out there in the 50 (4-6) class but he looked good doing it!
#98 Jason Kukielka took the win in the 50 Open class (1-1) over #123 JR Gionette (2-2).

Like I said, the racing was good at the front but let’s hope we get more riders showing up at Sand Del Lee this Saturday. You can look through the full results HERE.
