Payton Morningstar Injury Update
Canadian #292 Payton Morningstar was injured at the 2024 Thor Mini O’s Presented by Pro Circuit and sustained a broken femur. We got in touch with him to see how his surgery went and find out what the prognosis is.
“I’ve been back at home here in Canada for about week now, since having the surgery in Gainesville to have the rod put in my femur. Surgery went well and I was in the hospital for a few days after, but it’s nice to be back home for the recovery process. I’ve been feeling pretty good and already seeing improvements everyday, so that keeps me motivated.
“I’m not too sure what the recovery time is just yet or when I can get back on the bike to start training for next season, but I can’t wait for it already! I’m happy to say this injury hasn’t slowed me down at all and it’s just made me hungry for more. I can’t wait to be behind the gate for all the rounds next summer.“

Great to hear he’s on the mend and he’ll be a great addition to the entire Canadian Triple Crown Series in 2025.
