How did you get started in racing?
My boyfriend already raced and he initiated me. I knew nothing about motocross; I trained horses since young. It’s very different.
As a little girl, did you ever expect to be this deep into a sport like motocross?
Young, I never thought I would motocross.
Do you think motocross is harder for a female to compete in?
No.
Who is your favourite rider and why?
Megan Brodeur is a big inspiration for me. She’s a very good person and I would like to ride like her.
Is there one lady racer out there that you think has paved the way for other girls to be successful in the sport?
Vicki Golden, for participating at the Supercross.
What Canadian Pro do you look up to and why?
Dylan Wright. He’s a young rider and he rides very good.
What is your favourite track and why?
I have two favourite track: Francklin Motosport because it’s appropriate for beginners and I love the track, and RPM Motocross for the ambiance and it’s a big family.
Who is your hero?
I don’t have one particular person. All my friends and my family are my heroes!
What were your goals for this season?
I would like a season without injury, and i will work hard to get up on the podium.
What are your biggest accomplishments?
In the beginning of the 2015 season, I had an accident in motocross. I have a big commotion with blood in brain, and I think I don’t come back on my bike! But with the help of doctors and a good helmet I’m back on! On my return at “Course Amical à Francklin” I got the holeshot at the second race.
What is your favourite part about going to the races?
Pass time with me friends and share the passion with my boyfriend. But the best moment it’s the feeling of the gate.
What do you like to do when you aren’t racing?
The summer when we not at a race, we go practice with friends or make an activity with them.
Is it important to have a motocross racer as a boyfriend/partner, or just a bonus?
It’s important he understands my passion but if he doesn’t ride it is not a problem! But I like that he practices with me to give me advice and he always encourages me. He’s perfect! (Laughs)
If you ever have children, will they be motocross racers?
Yes? But I’d never push if they don’t like motocross, but it is a dream.
Who do you want to thank?
My boyfriend, my family and my friends, they are always there, S.V.A. Triples-V, RPM Motocross, Honda Laliberté.
