How did you get started in racing?

My sister was involved in a horse show at the Lindsay Fairgrounds which I had also gone to watch and to support her. During a break in the horse show, I had noticed that there was motocross riders nearby that had gotten my attention and my mom took me over there to watch. I didn’t think about myself doing motocross racing at the time, but a couple of years later I had seen a video on YouTube and it sparked something in me to want to do it.

What is your favourite track and why?

I really don’t have one favourite. I like going to Motopark, Area 51 and the Jetwerx Compound in Mississippi. I like Motopark because it gets nice and rough and flows really good. I like Area 51 because of the big jumps and the night riding atmosphere and I like Jetwerx because it is a technical track and really good for training purposes.

Who is your favourite rider and why?

My favourite rider is Trey Canard. He and I have a lot in common such as our birthdays are on the same day and share the same Christian faith. He has an awesome attitude regardless of what happens to him and I also enjoyed hearing about his life story in general.

What Canadian Pro do you look up to and why?

I look up to both Cole Thompson and Colton Facciotti because I’ve had the opportunity to be trained by them and build a friendship both on and off the track.

Who is your hero?

I’d have to say my hero would be my dad. He always encourages me and has always believed in me when I didn’t always believe I could do it. He’s at every race and looks after my bikes and helps others. He’s a great leader.

What are your goals for this season?

My goal is to get on the podium at the Walton TransCan Raceway in the Supermini class.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

My biggest accomplishment has been becoming one of the Elite Riders at MXSchools and Frankfit under the Thompson family.

What is your favourite part about going to the races?

I have a passion for riding. I love to go fast and riding against some of the best riders around and I also like seeing and hanging out on the weekend.

What do you like to do when you aren’t racing?

I enjoy riding my pitbike, watching Motocross races on the internet and doing maintenance work on my bikes with my dad.

Who would you like to thank?

First of all, the Lord Jesus Christ for everything he has given me, my family for their support, my sponsors…MXSchools.com, Frankfit Canada, Works Connection, Alias MX, Atlas Brace, Techcare Development, Peacock Lumber, Masons Kitchens, Hawk Contracting, Terry Rowley Mechanical and ProWheel Racing Components, Mary Roy Re/Max Real Estate and Direct Motocross for giving me this opportunity.
