Julien Benek Injury Update:
The MVP Racing rider found himself up in 2nd place early in 450 moto 1 at Gopher Dunes this past Sunday.
Unfortunately, he started dealing with arm pump and slid back to 5th when he crashed hard just after the big tabletop jump along the tree line on the last lap. He sat up in the medical side-by-side and gave me a groggy, “I’m OK” as he rode by.
He went to the hospital to make sure his neck and back were OK.
He said, “I’m doing good. Luckily, nothing is broken but I’m still very banged up. I hit my head pretty good, but just gonna take this week really slow and see how I feel for Sand Del Lee.”
