The 5th annual MMRS Madoc National went off this past weekend. As always, there was great racing, great people and lots of smiles. The track was very technical on Saturday and got faster on Sunday. Cole Thompson was the fastest all weekend long and Eve Brodeur was the top Woman racer. The event had 700-plus entries and is still the can’t miss event of the summer. Let’s take a look at how Dawn McClintock saw the event. Thanks for reading.
If you can’t sell it, race it! The pit bike race was a blast to watch.
The flag that everyone wants to see first.
Big thumbs up from Kim Normandin. This was the best race I’ve seen from her, and her English interview was pretty impressive as well.
Artsy Bell Helmet.
The One Shift Away Racing Gang awaiting their turn in the ruts.
A very cool mother daughter moment (no that’s not the real Kristina Sundal).
Corey Sullivan waiting for the damn podium guy to quit fumbling around.
John Maguire running the show while the OMS girls keep a close eye on the action.
Young Lilly Turner has been putting in the seat time on her Strider and looks ready for the jump to the PW for 2016.
Jaedon Simpson getting some quality mic time.
Moto couple Kelcey Jones and Westen Wrozyna were busy watching both of their younger brothers on the podium numerous times.
You can’t watch a 50cc moto without seeing a Pink Gmax helmet.
The future of Women’s racing in Ontario is very promising.
Will somebody get this guy some graphics! Drew Roberts turned a lot of heads all season long aboard his white unicorn.
Someone needs to get this guy a fresh Atlas Brace.
Cale Foster made the trip down to spin T handles for his boy Dylan Wright
Everyone in the MMRS crew has an important job, and this one has its ups and downs.
Doesn’t this Suomy remind you of the old M2R Blackfoot helmets?
In a few years, we may see Tanner Ward trying to chase down his little brother Carter in the Pro Class.
This young racer gets his turn talking with KTM’s Claudie Lapointe. Thanks for filling in, Claudie!
Do people still say this?!?!
The tykes all walked away with some sweet looking hardware.

It wouldn’t be a real event without Dave Bell calling the action!
This racer picks one of the many ruts.
Penny Turner, remember that name!
Liam O’Farrell wondering where he can buy a start.
There was an abundance of cute puppies everywhere all weekend long. This little guy needed a break.
John Maguire discussing things with Trevor Pollock.
That’s the high peak of Jameson MacDonald.
Even the little guys go into the first corner hard.
Like I said earlier, the future of moto is really bright.
After a scary crash on Saturday, it was nice to see Jody Falcon back in action Sunday.
Everyone has fun at MMRS.
Ben Mistelbacher has picked it up not only on the track but also on the mic.
The Ness family is all smiles.
I’ve never seen so many trophies or smiles.
Down in front, Tardelli! Everyone wants to see how they did.
Young Fiona Koenig and her biggest fan, Eve Brodeur. Wait, maybe it’s the other way around?
Cole Thompson gives his best ‘blue steel’ look, as he was perfect all weekend long.
Dawn sure does love her helmet pics!
The Zox of Eve Brodeur.
Everyone was enjoying the action.
Well, almost everyone.
