A1: Go Time!
Atlas Athletes ready to kick off the season.
Just one more night of sleep until the opening round of Monster Energy Supercross inside Angel stadium. The Atlas Brace family is ready for the 2016 season as our athletes are all healthy and excited to embark on the grueling 17 round battle to glory. The Supercross series is the pinnacle of the sport and Atlas Brace has some contenders.
Still playing a key role in the success of Atlas Brace is future Hall of Famer, Ryan Villopoto (4-time Supercross, 3- time 250 Motocross, 3- time 450 motocross champion. 73 total career wins). “I’m just fan this Saturday night at A1,” states a very relaxed Villopoto. “I’ll be keeping an eye on the Atlas Brace Family as well watching the stacked field chase the dream I accomplished four straight times. There is nothing like the Supercross championship. A1 looks like it may be muddy, so it could be a wild night.”
Back for 2016 is Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider Jason Anderson who turned some heads last year as a rookie. “I made mistakes, but I made every race and that was a big goal of mine in 2015,” shares Anderson. “This season I feel very confident in my whole program and am ready to fight for a title.”
Dean Wilson is coming off a tough 2015, but his positive energy and RED Bull KTM backed machine look solid heading into A1. “I’m confident and armed with the best support behind me,” says Wilson. I know where I can be and where I should be. It’s up to me to endure the series and prove I belong on the list with the best.”
Also lining up in the premiere 450 class is Kyle White and newly signed Rocky Mountain ATV/MC aboard a Honda rider Kyle Chisholm.
In the Lites class, Atlas Brace is proud to support Martin Davalos (East), Chris Howell (West), Josh Cartwright (East), John Short (East) and 2015 AMA Horizon award winner Benny Bloss (East). When you see these heroes’s wearing our Atlas Air Brace, be sure to cheer loud!!
Also kicking off this weekend is RD1 Amsoil Arenacross in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our newest family member is Gavin faith aboard his Monster Energy Babbitt’s Kawasaki. Faith took home 3rd in the title chase last year and is no doubt a title threat in 2016. “I’m ready to go,” a smiling Faith added. I’m stoked to be part of Atlas Brace and can’t believe how amazing this product is. The lightness and comfort are unreal and unmatched. Mix that with my program and we’re fighting for this championship.”
