2015 Mini O’s Photo Report – Wednesday
By Billy Rainford
It was all about the Supercross main events today at the 44th Annual Thor Winter Olympics at the track just outside Gainesville, Florida. We had some great Canadian performances, and even a win! Starting Thursday, the action moves over to the Motocross track for the remainder of the week. Here’s a look at how our Canadian riders did.
#16 Krista Casselman and Dylan Wright waiting for Krista’s turn for practice on the MX track after a couple days on the SX track.
Krista had some good battles with #28 and finished 16th.
#33 Kylie Fasnacht took the win.
Matthew Leblanc doesn’t even get your lame ‘Friends’ references!
#161 Ben Mistelbacher had to wait on the line for over half an hour for his final moto while they did track maintenance…and they were the last race.
He ended up 17th in 51 (4-8) and 22nd 51 (7-8) Liited.
#21 Carter Stuart finished 19th in 51 (4–6), the youngest class racing.
#667 Tyler Kirby finished 24th in 51 (4-6).
#101 Matthew Cemovic made the main in Mini Sr (12-15) and finished 13th.
Names to remember: #411 Nick Romano, #238 Haiden Deegan, and #199 Ryder Difrancesco.
#494 Thomas Rendall snagged 23rd in 85 (9-11).
That will just always come in handy.
#214 Austin Forkner solidified his reputation as the top A class rider right now. Oh, and he almost pulled a holeshot in 450 A on his 250F.
Mitch Goheen took 7th in 450C.
Greg Mistelbacher finished 21st in 45+.
#46 Marco Cannella had a solid day and finished up in 2nd spot in Schoolboy 1.
#553 Nick Denniston is looking forward to hitting the MX track. He finished 9th in 450C.
#424 Austin Watling put it all together and took a win in the 250C class.
It was pretty sweet!
OK, that will do it for today from Florida. Thanks for looking. It’s all about MX starting tomorrow.
